  • Day 01: Arriving to Arusha - Tanzania
    Arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet and greet our guide who take you to your Safari vehicle and transfer you to Arusha town. The Journey that takes us 1:30hrs, arriving to your Lodge in Arusha city check-in; followed by shortly brief about the safari then dinner and overnight at Katambuga House
  • Day 02-03: Fly from Arusha to Northern Serengeti for Game Drive
    Depart Arusha by scheduled flight to the northern Serengeti. This flight is one of the most scenic in Tanzania, soaring past iconic landmarks like Ol Donyo Lengai and the Ngorongoro Crater. Flying over the Serengeti you realise the sheer scale of the seemlingly never ending plains. Our guides will meet you at the airstrip and take you back to Dunia Camp
    Next Day will be spent exploring the world-renowned wildlife of the Serengeti. You will typically go out twice a day - once early morning and once late afternoon, stopping for a sundowner before returning to the lodge
    The central part of Serengeti is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world. With countless predators including lion, cheetah, leopard, more than two million wildebeest, half a million Thomson’s gazelle, and a quarter of a million zebra, it has the greatest concentration of wildlife on our planet
  • Day 04-05: Wildebeest Migrations Mara River Crossing Serengeti
    The wildebeest migration is one of the most spectacular wildlife events that takes place annually in the Serengeti ecosystem, specifically involving the Mara River. The Serengeti is a vast savannah region that spans across Tanzania and Kenya, while the Mara River flows through the northern part of the Serengeti and extends into the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya.
    To experience the wildebeest migration Mara River crossings, it's totally unpredictable its a natural events we cant guarantee days of crossing but best to plan your visit around the dry season and the corresponding months when the herds are most likely to be in a specific area.
    The landscape is a combination of nutritious grasslands and sparse woodlands: grassy areas dotted with Acacia trees, the iconic image of the Serengeti. The entire ecosystem spans 30,000 km2 from north Tanzania extending to south-western Kenya.
    Later evening drive back to the lodge for relaxation after a long day of game drive, drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Mara River Camp
  • Day 06: Drive from the Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
    After leisure breakfast at your lodge,you will depart Serengeti with enroute game drive to Ngorongoro Crater for overnight, enroute game drive nortn, western to central Serengeti National Park until you reach the park exit gate.
    Treat the drive as a game drive itself. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife sightings along the way. The Serengeti is teeming with animals, and you might encounter various species, including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and more.
    On your arrival you will be welcomed with a drink and short brief about the safari & lodge and followed by relaxation before dinner and overnight at Lions Paw Lodge
  • Day 07: Descending Down the Crater for Game Drive
    Descend into the crater, arriving ahead of most visitors — thanks to the ideal location of your accommodations on the crater’s rim — to view the resident wildlife at its most active time of day. The prairies of this “Lost World” are great spots for watching buffalo and elephants as well as the countless other species that roam the crater’s 100-square-mile floor. You may even sight flamingos (when in season) or the rare black rhino. Following lunch, visit a Maasai village to gain a better understanding of the nomadic cattle-herders’ daily life and culture.
    When it’s time to start the return journey, your guide will drive you back up the steep walls of the caldera to the rim & exit the crater, and onwards to your lodge for a chance to freshen up and enjoy a drink in the bar before dinner and overnight at Lions Paw Lodge
  • Day 08: Fly back from Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
    You will bid farewell to the team at Lions Paw Lodge and head back to the airstrip by road in time to catch your scheduled shared charter flight back to Arusha.
    Upon our arrival will depend with arrival time; We make a 15-minute drive by a private car to Sanaa, a local enterprise that employs people with physical disabilities. In this workshop, you will meet with locals, learn the basics of sign language, and see how these artisans come together to create unique, artisanal gifts. You may buy some to support them & after our visit, We will travel overland to Kilimanjaro International Airport, about a 1.5 hour drive. You’ll fly overnight back home
