Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya's most popular parks. The name "Amboseli" comes from a Maasai word meaning "salty dust", and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close

The Taita Hills wildlife sanctuary is nestled within surrounding hills that collectively form the Eastern Arc Range of Mountains inscribed by UNESCO as a biodiversity hotspot hosting varied endemic wildlife species and a myriad of unique flora.

The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant and othe big 5, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.

Itinerary


  • Day 01: Arriving to Nairobi - Kenya
    Arriving at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, You'll be transferred from the Nairobi Airport to Hemingways hotel, one of the best 5 star luxury hotels in Kenya offering exceptional services and comfort. It is the best boutique hotel in Nairobi. The Journey that takes us 1:30hrs, On your arrival followed by shortly brief about the safari then dinner and overnight at Fairmont The Norfok
  • Day 02: Drive from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
    After your breakfast from the lodge our guide will pick you from Nairobi and start a journey to Amboseli National Park, a journey that will take 3hrs of driving. Royal for its elephants at the foot steps of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Check in for lunch at Kibo safari camp. Game drive till late in the day (16h to 18h30) and drive back to your camp for Dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Lodge.
  • Day 03: Full Day Exploring Amboseli Wilderness & Cultural Activities
    This day is for comprehensive game drives in the park with breaks for meals and optional activies like masai village visits and sundowner .This is the only park where you can view large herds of elephants up close and due to its sparse vegetation as a result of long dry months amboseli offers some of the best opportunities to spot many wild animals plus a view of Mountain Kilimanjaro by far. Later drive back to your lodge for relaxation followed by Dinner and overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Lodge.
  • Day 04: Depart from Amboseli National Park to Tsavo West National Park
    Rise early for an exciting game drive with magnificent views of the snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background. Return to the lodge for breakfast then depart for Tsavo West arriving for lunch. The Park is set with gently rolling plains, the picturesque Taita hills and lava flows all in a plateau dotted with acacia, scrub, and bush land. This is home to a variety of wildlife including the famed Tsavo elephant and lions. In the afternoon head out for a game drive and if time allows visit Mzima Springs then return to the lodge in the evening for rest, dinner and overnight stay at Kilaguni Serena Lodge. .
  • Day 05: Depart Tsavo West to Taita Hill Wildlife Conservancy
    After breakfast, depart for Taita Hills game reserve with game en route. Arrive at Taita hills drive to your lodge for relaxation followed by lunch. Afternoon game drive till sunset. The Taita Hills wildlife sanctuary is nestled within surrounding hills that collectively form the Eastern Arc Range of Mountains inscribed by UNESCO as a biodiversity hotspot hosting varied endemic wildlife species and a myriad of unique flora. Dinner and overnight stay at Taita Salt Lick safari Lodge.
  • Day 06: Depart from Taita Hills to Hemingsway Watamu Beach - Mombasa
    Early morning game drive, followed by breakfast at your lodge - Check out, game drive en route out of the sanctuary and drive along nairobi - mombasa highway to mombasa, arrival to Diani beach early evening, check in to your hotel for refresh and relaxation around your hotel. Dinner will be served at your hotel followed by overnight at Hemingsway Watamu Beach
  • Day 07: Full Day Relaxation Day at Watamu Beach - Mombasa
    Waterlovers is located on the wonderful beach of Diani. Almost constant trade winds blow into the spacious, pristine beach while the reef offers flat-water conditions and waves. Although the beach is the main attraction, there is a wide variety of other activities.
    Kite-Surfing Diani Beach is the ideal spot for beginners and experts alike and offers plenty of space for safe launching and landing of kites.

  • Day 08: Transfer Day from Watamu Beach to Mombasa Airport
    On your final day, After breakfast at the hotel. If you are departing on a late afternoon flight, there will be an opportunity for some activities esp for city tour and a delicious lunch.
